Bring your own horse and enjoy the beautiful off road riding in the Western Lake District . Numerous bridleways surround Bleng Barn allowing off road access up to the surrounding fells or down to the sea.

The long sandy coastline is nearly an hour’s ride away, along quiet leafy lanes and provides lovely stretches of sand for long gallops or just exploration.

Livery can be provided for up to ten or more horses or ponies depending on the time of year. This can include stable (bedding and haylage included) £10 a night or grazing at £5 a night. This will include the use of the out door arena and jumps if required.

Equine courses

Courses and lessons on your own horses can be arranged with well qualified instructors up to BHSI. Subjects ranging from Trec, to show jumping, or for the more serious we can offer show preparation and stable management.

These can vary from one hour lessons for groups or individuals in our all weather arena BHS stages from stage 1 to stage 3 prices and booking for groups on application. The BHS courses will be delivered in co-operation with UCLan.
